A total of 10 police areas, 39 Grama Niladhari divisions and 04 housing complexes and flats have been put under lockdown islandwide as of now, stated the Department of Government Information.
In Colombo district, a total of 09 police divisions are under lockdown, which are Mutwal, Grandpass, Wolfendhal, Dam Street, Keselwatte, Maligawatte, Maradana, Dematagoda and Kotahena. The Wekanda, Wanathamulla, Salamul, Hunupitiya, 60 Waththa and Kokila Road Grama Seva areas are also under lockdown. Further, Dandiya Uyana, Laksanda Sevana and Ferguson Road South Flats have also been declared as isolated.
In the Gampaha district, 10 Grama Seva areas and one housing scheme, the Thaladuwa Road Labours House, have been isolated.
