A 12 year old from Rajanganaya has tested positive for Covid-19, Director General of Health Services Dr. Anil Jasinghe said.
Nearly 12, 000 individuals have been placed in self- quarantine in Rajanganaya, Anuradhapura after an individual from Rajanganaya, who had served as an instructor at the Kandakdu Rehabilitation Centre, had tested positive following the COVID-19 outbreak at the centre.
Accordingly, the total number of covid cases detected in the country has risen to 2,688.
