13 Members of Parliament who were part of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) have decided to sit independently in Parliament, says MP Prof. G L Peiris today (31).
Accordingly, MPs Dullas Alahapperuma, Prof. G.L Peiris, Prof. Channa Jayasumana, Prof. Charitha Herath, Dr. Nalaka Godahewa, Prof. Gunapala Rathnasekara, Udayana Kirindigoda, Dilan Perera, Wasantha Yapa Bandara, Dr. Upul Galappaththi, Dr. Thilak Rajapaksa, KPS Kumarasiri and Lalith Ellawala will now be seated on the opposition side in parliament.
