SSC won on first-inning against Colts Cricket Club in the tournament final played at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium, Colombo on Sunday and Monday. SSC make 385/8 SSC won the toss and elected to bat first. SSC scored 385 runs for eight wickets in 84.3 overs. Skipper and left-handed batsman Asalanka scored 115 runs in 159 balls with 13 boundaries and three sixes. Sandun Weerakkody scored 84 runs and Kavindu Kulasekara scored 67 runs. Krishan Sanjula scored an unbeaten 26. Asalanka and Kulasekara shared 157 runs for third wicket. Mahesh Theekshana took three wickets for 76 runs and both Kavishka Anjula and Chalana De Silva took two wickets each. Colts bowled out 188 runs behind SSC Colts were then bowled out for 197 runs in 53.4 overs, 188 runs behind SSC’s first-innings total. Avishka Fernando scored 35 runs and Sadeera Samarawickrame scored 33. Maheesh Theekshana scored an unbeaten 27 while Jehan Daniel scored 23. Hashan Dumindu scored 21. Tharindu Rathnayake took three for 45 runs. Akash Senarathne took three wickets for 68 runs while Charith Asalanka took two for 17. SSC in their second essay scored 103 for two in 19.3 overs at close. Sammu Ashan scored 72 runs and Krishan Sanjula scored unbeaten 15.
