138 persons directed to quarantine centres from multiple areas

A total of 138 persons have been directed to quarantine centres from multiple locations today (5), Army  Commander Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva said. Among the 138 persons, 29 people from Bandaranaikapura, Rajagiriya, 27 people are from Kolonnawa and 67 people are from Kandy. The above persons are believed to have had contact with a Covid-19 cases. Meanwhile, 47 people were released today from military-operated quarantine facilities. The Army Commander said, so far 5089 people have been released after completing the mandatory quarantine period. 4883 people are currently undergoing quarantine across 39 facilities across the Island.
