The Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka today stated that 1,600 Chinese nationals have been vaccinated with the Chinese made Sinopharm vaccine today.
"1,600 Chinese nationals received Sinopharm COVID19 vaccine today in 4 places in Sri Lanka , with no adverse effect report. Remaining 1,000 recipients expected tomorrow. 2,600=0.87% of 600k doses stock," the Chinese Embassy said in a tweet.
They also thanked the Ministry of Health for their assistance.
