President Maithripala Sirirsena had met with the Singapore Government on his short visit today(24), they had indicated their willingness to provide Sri Lanka with assistance to curtail the illegal drug crisis.
In a meeting with the Singapore Minister for Social and Family Development and Second Minister in the Ministry of National Development, Desmond Lee and other relevant officials, an agreement had been reached to provide Sri Lanka with the technical knowledge used by its own nation to erradicate the illegal drug trade.
President Sirisena had also met with Singapore's President Halimah Yakoob for bilateral talks this morning(24).
