Two more inmates of the Mahara Prison who were receiving treatment at the Ragama Hospital following the Mahara Prison riots have died, Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said.
Accordingly, 11 inmates have died as a result of the unrest at the Mahara Prison.
