Out of the 669 COVID-19 cases that were reported during the last 24 hours, 204 cases were reported in Colombo, the National Operations Center for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) said.
It said 48 cases were reported in Kotahena, 31 in Borella, 30 in Cinnamon Garden and 18 in Slave Island.
Meanwhile, 111 cases were reported from Gampaha which included 45 cases detected from Negombo and 36 cases reported at the Mahara Prison.
In Kandy District, 170 cases were reported yesterday including the 147 cases at the Bogambara Prison. Meanwhile, 67 cases were reported in Kalutara.
