22 university students further remanded for violating court orders

Twenty two university students have been further remanded until 16th of March.
The students were arrested for protesting in violation of a court order obtained by the Police over acts of obstruction of the public.
The order was delivered when the students were produced before the Colombo Magistrate’s Court this morning (02). The Inter-University Students Federation (IUSF) commenced a satyagraha in front of the UGC last  Thursday (27) demanding the removal of the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ruhuna.
