Sri Lanka recorded a total of 2,377 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday (26), said the Department of Government Information.
2,325 of these cases were from the post-New Year Cluster while 52 of those who tested positive were returnees from overseas.
The highest number of Covid patients were reported from the Colombo district with 573, followed by Gampaha district with 530, and Kandy with 257.
