A total of 193 COVID patients were identified from the Kalutara district yesterday (23), including 162 persons from the Atalugama area. The total number of COVID cases reported islandwide yesterday was 428.
Further, 42 persons from the Trincomalee district had also been identified as COVID patients, along with 12 persons from the Muthur Police Station.
Colombo reported a total of 101 patients, with 42 from Borella, and 35 inmates of Welikada prison.
