Five more COVID-19 patients have been reported today from Bandaranayake Mawatha Colombo 12, raising the total number of patients in the country to 309.
Over 1000 persons from the same area were directed to quarantine centres today.
The measure was taken following a surge in the number of COVID-19 cases in the area.
Meanwhile, total number of recoveries reached 98 yesterday.
Sri Lanka’s COVID-19 death toll stands at 7.
