The Dehiowita Medical Officer of Health Dr. Maduwanthi Wijesinghe stated that the police areas of Dehiowita, Ihala Thalduwa, Pahala Thalduwa, Epalapitiya and Thimbiripola have been made isolated villages until further notice.
This was with regard to seven fish vendors living in Dehiowita and the wife of one of them have been diagnosed with the COVID-19.
Health officials said that all of them were connected to the Peliyagoda fish market.
