Sri Lanka’s transport ministry has decided to deploy over 5000 buses and 400 trains for public transport services from Monday.
Transport Minister Mahinda Amaraweera said the measure has been taken in case the government re-opens private and public sector institutions, after 20 April.
Meanwhile, schools and universities are set to re-open on 11 May.
