A 54-year-old man has been arrested and remanded over sexually abusing at least three children under the age of 16.
Police Spokesperson SSP Jaliya Senaratne speaking at a press briefing today revealed that the man operated as ‘set designer’ for a media network and was also as a tuition teacher.
According to Senaratne incriminating evidence including many photographs of children being sexually abused were discovered in the possession of the suspect.
Many storage devises in the possession of the perpetrator were also seized by the Police.
Alleged victims have been produced for medical tests while the suspect has been remanded until the 08th of August.
