A total of 578 Navy officers have tested for Covid-19 so far, Army Commander Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva said today.
He said a total of 221 Navy personnel have fully recovered and have been discharged while 357 are currently receiving treatment in selected hospitals.
The country reported 35 cases yesterday (19). All cases were identified as Navy officers.
The country's total number of Covid-19 cases stands at 1027.
