A 63MW power generator at the Kelanitissa Power Plant has shut down a short while ago, the Ceylon Electricity Board announced.
This was due to the lack of fuel to generate electricity.
The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation is currently supplying 900MT of fuel to the Power Plant.
