67 persons from Ratnapura directed to Diyatalawa quarantine centre

67 persons from Ratnapura town have been directed to the Diyatalawa quarantine center, Army Commander, Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva said today.

The measure has been taken following suspensions that the group has had close contact with persons infected with the coronavirus (COVID-19).

The Police yesterday announced that curfew in Ratnapura and Pelmadulla police areas will continue until further notice.
