Over 7000 persons have been found guilty for curfew violations, DIG Ajith Rohana said today.
DIG Ajith Rohana speaking at a press briefing today said 20,000 cases have been filed against curfew violators so far.
He said more cases will be filed against curfew violators under the quarantine Act.
According to DIG Ajith Rohana the Police have arrested over 65, 000 curfew violators and seized more than 18,000 vehicles since curfew restrictions were imposed on March 20.
