A total of 261 COVID patients were reported from the Colombo district and 142 were reported from the Gampaha district, out of the islandwide count of 715 patients.
In Colombo, 22 patients were reported from the Kaduwela area, followed by 21 from Piliyandala, and 16 each from Borella and Ratmalana.
In the Gampaha district, 18 patients were reported from the Weliveriya area, followed by 13 each from Kadawatha and Dekatana.
