8 more persons have tested positive for Covid-19 a short while ago, raising the total number of patients in the country to 485.
Earlier today, 17 persons tested positive for the virus.
Forty cases were reported from the country yesterday (25).
The country saw the highest daily total of 52 positive cases on Friday (24) with 30 cases being reported from the Welisara Navy Camp .
Meanwhile, two Covid-19 patients had recovered and were discharged today raising the total recoveries in the country to 120.
Currently, 350 active cases are under medical care at hospitals across the island.
Sri Lanka has reported 7 fatalities from the disease so far.
