An 82-year-old female from Colombo 13 died from COVID-19 and high blood pressure, increasing the number of COVID-19 deaths in the country to 147, the Government Information Department said.
It said the victim had been transferred to the Mulleriyawa Hospital from the National Hospital, Colombo and passed away at the Mulleriyawa Hospital's ICU yesterday.
