The daily number of Covid-19 patients in the Colombo district has exceeded 400.
The National Center for the Prevention of the spread of Covid-19 said that 480 infected people have been identified in the Colombo District during the last 24 hours ending today (25) at 6 am.
Outbreaks have been reported from 41 Medical Officer of Health (MOH) divisions in the district, out of which more than 20 have been identified in Slave Island, Narahenpita, Wellawatte, Cinnamon Gardens, Maradana, Gothatuwa, Mount Lavinia and Wellampitiya.
For the third day in a row, new cases were reported in all 25 districts of the country yesterday (24), according to the National Center for the Prevention of the spread of Covid-19.
Among the 843 new cases identified yesterday were 86 from the Gampaha district, 72 from the Kalutara district and 40 from the Galle district.
