A/L examinations are to commence on 12th of October, while the Grade five scholarship exam will be held on 11 October, the Ministry of Education announced.
A special committee headed by Ministry of Education Secretary N.H.M. Chithrananda was appointed last month to consider concerns raised by students sitting for their Advanced Level (A/L) examinations.
The GCE A/L examination for 2020 (local) was set to be held from 7 September to 2 October previously. The Grade 5 Scholarship exam was to be held in August. However, the delay in reopening schools raised concerns about the timing.
