The Acting President Ranil Wickremesinghe has informed Justice Minister Wijedasa Rajapaksa to speed up the release process of former MP Ranjan Ramanayake further to requests made by MP Harin Fernando and MP Manusha Nanayakkara, The Morning reliably learnt.
This discussion was held during the cabinet meeting held yesterday (15).
Additionally, sources confirmed that as the process would be taken up as a matter of urgency, the documentation pertaining to the release of Ramanayake would be completed within the next week or two.
