Action will be taken against 213 institutions in the Western Province for failing to fulfill requirements needed to prevent the spread of COVID-19, Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said.
He said legal action will be taken against the administrators of these institutions under quarantine rules and regulations.
During a special operation, the Police have inspected 1,311 public and private institutions in the Western Province yesterday.
