Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said two persons who were not wearing face masks tested positive for COVID-19 after they were subjected to Rapid Antigen tests today.
He said a special operation was launched in Colombo this morning to nab those failed to wear face masks in public.
“We will take legal action against 30 persons who failed to wear face masks. The two persons who tested positive have been sent to treatment centres and their closed contacts to quarantine centres,” he said.
