Minister of State Prof. Channa Jayasumana says that the Covid vaccine received from China will be given to Chinese nationals in Sri Lanka from today (05).
Six hundred thousand doses of this Chinese-made Sinopharm vaccine were brought to Sri Lanka on the 31st by SriLankan Airlines flight UL869.
The vaccine was presented to Sri Lanka by Chinese President Xi Jinping at the request of President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa.
