Afghanistan’s three-match ODI series against Pakistan was moved from Hambantota to Pakistan last evening because of logistical challenges in the Afghanistan team’s travel.
The Afghans’ planned circuitous trip to Colombo for the series had reportedly brought up insurmountable logistical challenges, mainly due to various Covid-19 protocols in the countries.
They are to now travel to Pakistan later this week. The venues for the ODIs starting on 3 September are yet to be announced.
