The Attorney General (AG) Dappula de Livera has returned 40 incomplete investigation files to the Act. IGP on suspects arrested over Easter attacks, Coordinating officer to AG State Counsel Nishara Jayaratne stated.
The AG has also observed that legal action could not be taken based on the files.
The AG has requested the Act. IGP to complete investigations and hand over the completed files to the AG as soon as possible.
