30 Oct 2021

Following a decision to immediately look into the possibility of making the vaccination card compulsory when entering public places including shops and restaurants, which was made at yesterday’s (29) Special Committee on COVID-19 Control meeting, the President’s Media Division (PMD) says that the Attorney General’s advice on the same has been sought. Health officials present at the meeting had stated that there are legal provisions under the Covid-19 related law to enforce it against those who decline to get the vaccine.
