In response to the statement made by Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa which requested the Government to step down and call for an election immediately, Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna Leader Anura Kumara Dissanayaka said that Premadasa should get his “head examined,”
Dissanayaka called Premadasa “utterly immature and Irresponsible”, further stating that this was not an appropriate time to conduct an election.
Premadasa had condemned the Government on Saturday (11) for being “irresponsible and lacking management skills” in controlling the Covid-19 pandemic, along with the current economic situation.
