The CID has arrested a Sub Inspector (SI) of the Southern Crimes Investigations Unit (SCIU) in connection with the disappearance of two businessmen in Rathgama, Police Media Spokesman SP Ruwan Gunasekera told The Morning.
The suspect was identified as SI Viraj Madhushanka.
Businessmen Manjula Asela and Rasheen Chinthaka, who are residents of the Boosa have been missing since January 23 this year.
Investigations are continuing. (MM)
