The Police Spokesman said that another two Navy personnel were arrested by the CID last night in connection with the abduction of 11 youths. The CID is still conducting investigations into the abduction of five students from Kotahena and six others from other parts of the country in 2008/2009.
Former Lieutenant Commander, Chandana Prasad Hettiarachchi, alias as ‘Navy Sampath’ in connection with this incident was arrested over the abduction and disappearance of 11 youths and has been further remanded by the Colombo Fort Magistrate.
