Another Army intelligence officer has been arrested over the disappearance of journalist Prageeth Eknaligoda.
The Police said that Lieutenant Colonel Erantha Peiris was arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) yesterday.
Eknaligoda, a cartoonist, political analyst and journalist, was reported missing on January 24, 2010 – two days before the Presidential polls.
In 2015 the CID questioned four soldiers over the disappearance of journalist Prageeth Eknaligoda and later arrested them.

Another Army intelligence officer has been arrested over the disappearance of journalist Prageeth Eknaligoda.
