A close associate of notorious underworld figures, Makandure Madush and Kanjipani Imran was arrested yesterday (23).
The Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) had made the arrest during a raid carried out last morning at Dharga Town in Aluthgama.
Lanthuwahandi Sanjeewa Pushpa Kumara, a 36-year-old was charged for aiding and abetting the underworld figures such as Madush and Imran, who are presently under arrest and conspiring to carry out criminal activities.
