Another COVID-19 death was reported today increasing the total number of COVID-19 deaths in the country to 41, the Government Information Department said.
The victim was a 48-year-old cancer patient from Ragama who died at home. The postmortem examination has revealed that he had contracted the virus.
Earlier today, four COVID-19 deaths were reported.
