Appeal Court to decide on 7 July whether to suspend warrant on Ravi and others

The Appeal Court is to decide on 7th of July whether or not to suspend the arrest warrants issued by Fort Magistrate on former Minister Ravi Karunanayake and other suspects of the Bond Scam. The Appeal Court made this announced when the writ petition filed by Karunanayake and the other suspects namely Chairman of Perpetual Treasuries Limited (PTL) Geoffrey Aloysius, PTL CEO Kasun Palisena and former Central Bank officials Indika Saman Kumara and  Sangarapille Padumanathan was taken up today. The case was taken up for consideration before the three- judge-bench comprising of President of the Court of Appeal A.H.M.D Nawaz, Justices Shiran Gunaratne and Sobitha Rajakaruna.
