Approximately 10 deaths are being reported on a daily basis from road accidents while 40-50 persons are being injured, Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said today.
He said 10 deaths were reported from road accidents during the last 24 hours as well.
"Out of the 10, four deceased are motorcycle riders or pillion riders, four are pedestrians and two are three-wheeler passengers," he said.
