The Colombo Additional Magistrate issued a warrant for the arrest of former Minister Rajitha Senaratne over the 'white van' press briefing.
The Attorney General had directed the CID to obtain a warrant from the court today(24).
The Colombo Magistrate’s Court yesterday issued an overseas travel ban on Senaratne over the aforementioned incident.
The Court further postponed Senaratne’s amended anticipatory bail application until December 30.
Senaratne through his application sort for the prevention of his arrest over the “white van” media conference held on the 10th of November.
