Showers or thundershowers are anticipated in parts of the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Uva and North-western provinces and Galle and Matara districts after 2.00 p.m., the Department of Meterologoy stated today (23).

Fairly heavy showers of about 75 mm are likely at some places in the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in Galle and Matara districts.
Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Sabaragamuwa, Central and Uva provinces and in Ampara district during the morning.
