During a special meeting of the World Economic Forum in Riyadh, Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Sabry engaged in bilateral discussions with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry.
With Saudi Arabia, Minister Sabry explored avenues to strengthen bilateral relations and enhance coordination across various sectors. The discussions also touched upon regional and international issues of mutual interest.
In a separate meeting with Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, the focus was on enhancing economic cooperation, promoting bilateral trade, and fostering cultural exchanges between Sri Lanka and Egypt. Both ministers affirmed their commitment to supporting a two-state solution for the Palestinian crisis.
