A special meeting of the Members of Parliament representing the ruling party led by President Ranil Wickremesinghe was held at the Presidential Secretariat yesterday (25).
During the discussion, special attention of the MPs has reportedly been drawn to the government’s future course of action, implementation of development projects and preparation of developmental plans covering all electorates.
Accordingly, the discussion was focused on the decisions to be taken by political parties and reaching specific agreements in relation to the upcoming elections.
The meeting was participated by all MPs of the ruling party including Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena and former President Mahinda Rajapaksa.
