The three-day adjournment debate on the 2019 Easter Sunday terror attacks will commence today (24), as per a motion brought forward by the Opposition.
The decision to hold this debate was made during a meeting of the Parliamentary Business Committee earlier this month.
Parliamentary proceedings will begin with the debate on the Code of Criminal Procedure (Amendment) Bill (Second Reading) and Regulations under the Poisons, Opium and Dangerous Drugs Ordinance, scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Following that, the adjournment debate on the Easter Sunday attacks will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
