The National Water Supply & Drainage Board (NWSDB) has announced a 14-hour water cut for various areas in the Colombo District on Saturday evening (27).
Starting from 5 p.m. on Saturday until 7 a.m. on Sunday (28), the water supply will be suspended in the following areas:
- Colombo 5 and 6
- Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia Urban Council area
- Moratuwa Urban Council area
- Jayanthipura
- Pelawatta
Residents in these areas are advised to make necessary arrangements to store adequate water ahead of the scheduled water cut.
