Former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has firmly rebutted allegations leveled against him by His Eminence, Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith, Archbishop of Colombo, concerning the investigation into the tragic events of the 2019 Easter Sunday attacks.
In a statement issued today, 25 April, in response to the Archbishop's remarks, former President Rajapaksa unequivocally denied any wrongdoing attributed to him during an event commemorating the fifth anniversary of the Easter Sunday suicide bombings.
