Sri Lanka received commendation from the International Monetary Fund's (IMF) Deputy Managing Director Kenji Okamura during the IMF-World Bank Group Spring Meetings in Washington, D.C.
Okamura praised the robust program implementation and reform progress implemented by Sri Lanka.
The Sri Lanka delegation was led by State Minister Shehan Semasinghe.
Semasinghe highlighted the Sri Lanka's dedication to macroeconomic policies and reforms.
The delegation also explored investment opportunities with the Business Council for International Understanding and held talks with IMF and World Bank officials on Sri Lanka's economic development.
