In the aid of finding solutions for an expected energy crisis that Sri Lanka may face in 2020, the State Minister of Power, Energy and Business Development Ravi Karunanayake held a meeting on Monday(21) with the Ambassadors to France and Canada.
Ambassador of France to Sri Lanka Eric Lavertu and Canadian Ambassador David Mckinnon who were part of the delegation joined the Minister for the meeting held at the Ministry premises
Minister Ravi Karunanayake emphasized that Sri Lanka is hoping to get the energy programs followed by the French and the Canadian governments and technical knowledge to minimize the energy crisis in the country.
