A 25-year-old associate of drug kingpin "Badowita Asanka" has been arrested in Wellawatta yesterday in possession of 25 grams of heroin and Rs. 615,000 earned from drug trafficking, stated Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana today.
Further, the Colombo Organized Crimes Division has arrested two persons in Kahathuduwa, one with 20 grams of heroin and the other with 202 grams of heroin and a three wheeler.
All suspects are expected to be produced in the Colombo Magistrate Court today.
It was revealed that over 60 anti-narcotic raids had been conducted by the Police yesterday.
